One of the reasons I have turned to writing about artists is that in the last five years I have gotten more serious about my photography. I have become quite obsessed with the magnificence of trees and try to convey both their beauty and their personalities.

I have lived many places in the world, but nothing has moved me like the forests of Victoria. My art practice is an attempt to give voice to their emotions and their plight.

I belong to the MAVA Collective (Melbourne and Victorian Artists) and have recently received a City of Melbourne Arts Grant for 2024 to complete a children’s book about urban trees called I See You, Can You See Me?
